Old Bedians Rugby Club is one of two Didsbury Rugby Clubs and has been playing rugby in Didsbury for 42 years. Old Bedians has 3 Senior Teams. The Old Bedians 1st team plays in North Lancs 1, Old Bedians 2nd Team plays in Millers Home League Division 4 East and Old Bedians 3rd Team play in Millers Homes League Division 5 South.
Old Bedians also have a Junior Rugby Section and currently fields an Under 16 side, next year the rugby club are hopeful of fielding both an Under 13 and Under 16 side. Old Bedians have a good history of promoting these players into the senior sides once they are ready to start playing at senior level.
