Ger Dempsey
A player who has really made his mark at the club over the last year, Ger has fast become a nuisance to opposition teams through regularly topping tackle counts and turnovers. Ger has made the 7 shirt his own and has become integral to the side’s success over the first half of the season. Although new to the club, Ger is very experienced and has shown great leadership qualities on the pitch setting examples in work rate for others to follow.

2nd XV
Daniel Davis
A club man through and through, Daniel has added another string to his bow during this period by both taking on the challenge of a new position at hooker and also taking the reins of captaincy for a few games. Daniel is someone whose thoughts on leadership are very much ‘actions not words’. He leads by example during games and sets the standards for defence for the team. He has performed very well at hooker and the club is looking forward to getting him back after his enforced layoff with a broken hand.

3rd XV
Ben Steers
‘Irish’ Ben is a great club man and a deserving winner of third team player of the month. After moving back into the area, Ben has picked up where he left off and has been a particularly vocal member of the club rallying people down to play for the third team. His game play over this period has typically been all heart and, as his knowledge of the game has progressed, he has become a much more confident and vocal player on the pitch.
