Old Bedians have another three fixtures this weekend, with the 1sts at home to Oldershaw, the 2nds taking on Carrington 1s and the newly formed Carrington & Didsbury Old Bedians Barbarians taking on local rivals Toc H.

Let's take a closer look at our opponents!

Old Bedians v Oldershaw
The team from Wallasey enjoyed a strong start to the season soundly beating Liverpool University, Oxton Parkonians, Prenton and Ramsey.
Oldershaw come into Saturday's game off the back of two close losses to Ruskin Park and Ellesmere Port. Bedians have lost just once in the league campaign against Ellesmere Port. Saturday will be a huge test for both teams in the hunt for promotion who are matched on points in third and forth position behind Ramsey and Ellesmere Port.

The game kicks off at 3pm at Old Bedians Sports Centre, Millgate Lane, M20 5QX.

Carrington 1s XV v Old Bedians 2nd XV
Carrington have had a good start to the season with some hard fought victories recorded against Sefton, Toc H and Knutsford. The team from Sale have a ferocious style of play with strong runners from 1 through to 15. In last year's fixtures Carrington took the spoils on both occasions in low scoring games with just a try separating the two teams both home and away.

Old Bedians drew 21-21 in last Saturday's game against Moore, the men from Didsbury walked off the pitch feeling like they should have won in what was an attritional game. The team will be determined to make amends this time round, more composure and organisation will be too key factors in getting the win in Sale.

Didsbury Toc H 4th XV v Didsbury Old Bedians 3rd XV Barbarians
Anyone who has pulled on a Bedians shirt will be all too aware of the intense rivalry between them and Toc H. The two teams have enjoyed some immense battles over the years. This time round the 3rd XV will be united with Carrington 2nd XV forming Didsbury Old Bedians Barbarians. Toc H have had a similar start to Bedians this season recording just one victory so far. Last season saw two high scoring games between the two sides with Old Bedians winning on both occasions. Both teams will be looking for a big victory on Saturday and it promises to be an entertaining game as both teams look for bragging rights of the village on Didsbury Beer Festival weekend.

The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 27th October Didsbury Sports Ground, Ford Lane, M20 2RU.
