Old Bedians are recruiting for a new coach to join the current coaching setup.

About Us
Old Bedians RUFC are a South Manchester based rugby club, offering rugby to players of all ages and ability in Didsbury. We are made up of two senior squads, with our 1st XV playing in Counties 3 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire this season and our 2nd XV playing in NOWIRUL Division 5 East. We have a thriving mini and junior section, some of which we have seen transition to senior rugby in the past season.
An opportunity has arisen for a new coach to join the current coaching team at Old Bedians RUFC. We are currently looking for a driven coach to join our team to help to develop both squads from the start of the 2024-2025 season. The role will commence at the start of pre-season for the upcoming season.

• Must be self-motivated, committed, and enthusiastic about coaching rugby union.
• To take full responsibility for the club’s coaching sessions at Old Bedians Sport Centre, M20 5QX each Wednesday from 7pm – 8:30pm alongside the Head Coach.
• To accompany the 1st XV to all match days taking place on Saturday afternoons.
• To liaise with the Head Coach and 1st XV captain and provide input on team selection.
• To have completed the England Rugby Coaching Award (previously Level 2) or to have relevant coaching experience and a desire to progress.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate players.
• Support the Head Coach in planning, preparing, and delivering coaching sessions for the senior squads.
