Old Bedians were crowned Bowl Champions in the final round of the Summer Touch league last week, and are now recruiting players across the ages for fun family touch this summer.

After a thrilling season of league fixtures, Old Bedians beat their semi-final opponents, the solicitors from Kuits, to set up a winner-takes-all final against Bowden Blades.

After being behind in the first half, the team dominated the second half and won the game 5-3. With stand-out performances across the entirety of the team, we couldn't be prouder of our Touch team who have made major improvements in their performance as the season has gone on.

Touch Rugby will continue at the club for the remainder of Summer. It will run 7:30-8:30 every Wednesday, and we aim to have two pitches running, one for a family fun game and another for a serious adult game.

Our Summer Touch team is very family friendly, with a mixture of Senior and Junior players, both Male and Female. We welcome players of all abilities!
