Bedes Need More Bite!

The U11s came upon a strong Marple team at home. As we were short of numbers - now it's 12 a side - we borrowed some Marple players to make up our numbers.

When Bedes got the ball, the running and passing was good, and we won the second match out of three, but it was hard to stop the Marple onrush with some big lads running at us, and some ineffective tackling.

On the positive side there was some good running and passing from Matthew Appleton and some great kicking from Alfie McIntyre who stepped up to take the conversions - he now has a 100% record!
